From 30 to 40-year-old Syrah vines on schist and granite soils on the Côte Brune at Ampuis. Hand-harvested, 80% destemmed, wild yeast fermentation and aged 18 months in French oak. Only 1,200 bottles produced. Intense violet hue, peppery with violet aromas and ripe dark fruit, full-bodied and supple with silky tannins and a long, elegant finish.
