Caronne Ste Gemme Haut Medoc

A classic Cru Bourgeois from Haut-Médoc, neighbour to Château Gruaud-Larose. Blending 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 38% Merlot and 7% Petit Verdot, hand harvested from 40-year-old vines on gravel and iron-rich sandstone soils, aged 12 months in French oak. Rich and medium-bodied, with aromas of blackcurrant, plum, espresso and cigar box, and silky tannins on the finish. Pair with roast lamb, beef or aged cheese.
