Château Les Trois Croix 2019 - Fronsac, France

Perched at 80 metres on the highest point of the Fronsac appellation, this estate was developed by Patrick Léon, former winemaker of Château Mouton Rothschild and Opus One. The 2019 is a blend of 80% Merlot and 20% Cabernet Franc, hand-harvested, fermented in concrete tanks and aged 16 months in French oak. Blackberries, cassis and warm spice, with full-bodied richness, fine chalky tannins and a persistent, elegant finish.
