Château Carbonnieux Blanc 2021 - Pessac-Léognan Grand Cru Classé, France

One of Bordeaux's benchmark white wines, produced since the 12th century on 100 hectares of gravel and clay-limestone soils in Pessac-Léognan. The 2021 is a blend of 65% Sauvignon Blanc and 35% Sémillon, aged 10 months on the lees in French oak with 25% new wood. Grapefruit, lime blossom and white pepper on the nose, with a lively, fresh palate and a long, saline finish.
