From a 0.30-hectare parcel on the steep, rocky limestone slopes of Les Folatières, the largest Premier Cru in Puligny-Montrachet, vinified from 50-year-old Chardonnay vines and aged 12 months in French oak (20% new). Rich and opulent with a focused nose of crushed rock, orange blossom and nectarine, leading to a taut, sapid palate with immense tension, great density and a long, persistent finish.
