La Jara Prosecco Rosé DOC - Veneto, Italy (organic)

From the same family estate as the Brut, this organic Prosecco Rosé is a blend of 90% Glera and 10% Pinot Noir, grown on the gravelly soils along the River Piave and certified organic by ICEA. The addition of Pinot Noir gives the wine its delicate pale pink colour and lifts the fruit profile with a touch of red berry character.

Fine, persistent bubbles and a pretty coral-pink colour. The nose is delicate and aromatic with ripe strawberry, raspberry and fresh apple. On the palate it is pleasant and fresh, with a good balance between gentle acidity and fruity vivacity, finishing clean and refreshing. A lovely aperitif or partner to light starters and salads.
