The entry-level wine of the legendary Sassicaia estate, Le Difese 2020 is an elegant blend of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon and 55% Sangiovese. Aged for 12 months in previously used French and American oak barrels, it reveals a bright ruby color and a complex nose of cherries, plums, and wild myrtle. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and juicy, offering perfectly ripe tannins and a fresh acidity that makes it both approachable and convivial.
