Mas de Daumas Gassac Rouge 2020 - Languedoc, France

Often called the Grand Cru of the Languedoc, Mas de Daumas Gassac was founded in 1974 by Aime Guibert on rare glacial limestone soils in the Gassac Valley. The red is 71% Cabernet Sauvignon blended with up to 18 other varieties from around the world, fermented slowly with wild yeast and aged 12 to 15 months in oak. Cassis, black cherry, garrigue and a whisper of cedar, with a long silky finish. Rated 93 points by Robert Parker.
