Pierre & Bertrand Couly Le V - Chinon, Loire, France

Named after Vincent, Bertrand's youngest son, who helped craft this cuvée. 100% Cabernet Franc from limestone soils, aged in stainless steel to preserve its purity. Full-bodied with firm, well-structured tannins and a smoky character, with dark fruits and spice on the palate. Needs a few more years to fully open up, with a cellaring potential of 5 to 12 years.
