The smallest Premier Cru in Santenay, named after the beehives once installed among the vines. South-facing on shallow Jurassic limestone, 30% whole bunches with indigenous yeasts, aged in Burgundian barrels with 15% new oak. Peony, cherry, kirsch and sweet spice, with silky texture and a delicate, lingering finish.
