One of Saint-Émilion's most celebrated estates, owned by the de Boüard de Laforest family for eight generations. Set in a natural amphitheatre where the bells of three churches could once be heard ringing together, Angélus has long been synonymous with the best of the Right Bank. The 2017 is harmonious and bursting with fruit, with dark plums, blackberries, chocolate and mocha, silky tannins and a long, compelling finish.
