Château Brane-Cantenac 2023 - Margaux 2ème Grand Cru Classé, France

A Second Growth Margaux owned by the Lurton family, with 75 hectares on fine gravel soils in Cantenac. The 2023 is a Cabernet Sauvignon-dominant blend of 77% Cab Sauv, 20% Merlot and small portions of Cabernet Franc, Carmenère and Petit Verdot, aged entirely in new oak. Cassis, violets, graphite and cedar, with silky tannins, racy acidity and a long, refined finish.
