Château Haut-Bailly 2018 - Pessac-Léognan Grand Cru Classé, France

One of Pessac-Léognan's most celebrated estates, Haut-Bailly is renowned for a style that balances power with extraordinary elegance. The 2018 is widely considered one of the greatest vintages ever produced here: a blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 5% Petit Verdot and 5% Cabernet Franc, aged 18 months in 60% new oak. Crème de cassis, violets, crushed rocks and tobacco, with plush tannins and a finish of breathtaking length.
