Nestled in the heart of the medieval village of Saint-Émilion, Couvent des Jacobins has been a family estate since 1902, on the site of a 14th-century Dominican convent. The 2015 is a generous, sun-drenched vintage, blending Merlot with Cabernet Franc and a touch of Petit Verdot from organically farmed vines. Plum, cherry, licorice and polished oak, with a supple texture and a fresh, earthy finish.
