Jean-Etienne Chermette Fleurie Les Deux Granites 2020 - Fleurie, Beaujolais, France

100% Gamay from two great granite terroirs of Fleurie, Poncié and Les Garants, from vines averaging 55 years old, gobelet pruned. Traditional semi-carbonic whole-bunch maceration of 9 to 11 days in concrete tanks, then aged 6 to 8 months in large foudres. Elegant and intense, with aromas of plum, raspberry, spices and rose petals, powdery tannins and a penetrating finish.
