Madame Veuve Point Le Soyeux Gevrey-Chambertin 2016 - Burgundy, France

One of Burgundy's most celebrated villages, Gevrey-Chambertin has been making great red wine since the monks of Langres first tended these slopes. This Pinot Noir grows on gravel and limestone soils between 280 and 380 metres, aged 18 months in oak in Beaune. Deep garnet, full-bodied and structured, with real ageing potential. A serious bottle at a very fair price.
