L'Aurage 2019 - Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux, France

The Castillon project of Louis Mitjavile, son of François Mitjavile of Tertre Rotebœuf. On 20 hectares of clay-limestone slopes bordering Saint-Émilion, the 2019 is a Merlot-dominant blend vinified in concrete vats and aged in French oak. Ripe red and black fruits, plum and a touch of spice, with a supple texture and a fresh, lingering finish.
