La Closerie des Eyrins 2020 - Margaux, France

The second wine of Château des Eyrins, owned by Julie and Xavier Gonet-Médeville, from a 9-hectare estate bordering Château Margaux itself on the Plateau du Moulin. Blending 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot and 3% Petit Verdot, hand-harvested and aged 18 months in 50% new oak. Elegant nose of blackcurrant, cherry, cinnamon and spice, with a supple, fruity palate, notes of blueberry and rose, and a long, smooth finish.
