Created in 1970 by Jean-Eugène Borie and today run by Bruno Borie, the family behind Château Ducru-Beaucaillou. The 2017, heavily impacted by spring frost, is a concentrated and elegant blend of 66% Merlot and 34% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 12 months in French oak with 20-30% new barrels. Beautifully aromatic, with red roses, red currants, black cherries, graphite and a lively, mineral finish.
