Mondot 2019 - Saint-Émilion, France

The second wine of Château Troplong Mondot, one of Saint-Émilion's Premier Grand Cru Classés, perched at 110 metres on the limestone plateau. The 2019 Mondot is 100% Merlot from clay-limestone soils, with notes of cherry compote, wild blueberry, licorice, rose and tobacco leaf. Soft and juicy on the palate, with a spicy lift on the finish. A generous and accessible Saint-Émilion to enjoy over the next 10 years.
