Roc de Cambes 2017 - Côtes de Bourg, France

François Mitjavile's celebrated Côtes de Bourg estate, grown on the same clay-limestone slopes that inspired his legendary Tertre Rotebœuf. From 12.5 hectares of 50-year-old vines, the 2017 is a blend of 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, aged 24 months in 100% new French oak. Macerated dark cherries, sage, star anise and new leather, with a seamless texture and a powerfully long finish.
