La Jara Prosecco Brut - Veneto, Italy

Produced by brothers Massimo and Paolo Marion on their family estate in the Veneto, farmed organically since 1999. The name "La Jara" means gravel in the local dialect, a nod to the stony soils that cover the vineyards and retain heat for the vines overnight. Crafted from 100% certified organic Glera grapes grown near the banks of the River Piave, using the traditional Charmat method. Rated 92 by Falstaff and Gold at the Great International Organic Wine Award.

Bright straw yellow with a persistent, lively mousse. The nose is fragrant and fresh with aromas of yellow peach, jasmine, grapefruit and apple. On the palate it is crisp, well-balanced and juicy, with vivacious bubbles and a clean, refreshing finish. Perfect as an aperitif or with seafood and light starters.
