Combier Guignolet d'Anjou Cherry Liqueur, France

Made by Distillerie Combier in Saumur from a recipe dating back to a 17th century Benedictine monastery. Whole guignes, small wild cherries from the distillery's orchards, are macerated with their pits to impart delicate almond notes. Sweet, deeply fruity and lightly bitter. Delicious chilled as an aperitif or in cocktails.
