Michel Couvreur Intravagan'za Grain Spirit, France/Scotland

A young single malt spirit distilled in Scotland and matured for three years in Moscatel wine and Oloroso sherry casks in Michel Couvreur's cellars in Bouze-lès-Beaune, Burgundy. Bottled unfiltered at natural cask strength, it delivers aromas of green almond, frangipane and candied fruit, with a generous palate of raisins, salted caramel, cinnamon and orange zest, and a long warm finish.
