From Kumesen Syuzo distillery in Okinawa, founded in 1952, pioneers of Ryukyu whisky since 1989. Distilled from 100% Indica rice using black Koji yeast inherited from the awamori tradition, then aged 12 years in sherry casks under Okinawa's subtropical climate. Notes of raisins, caramel, vanilla, sweet plum and a hint of balsamic spice.
