Beaune is the wine capital of Burgundy, and Champs Pimont is one of its rare white Premier Cru plots, sitting at the foot of the mountain with an east-facing exposure. Pure Chardonnay, aged in oak in the Maison's Beaune cellars. Pale gold with green hints, fresh and mineral with almond, white flowers and a honeyed finish. A white Beaune Premier Cru is a real find.
