Château Carbonnieux Rouge 2018 - Pessac-Léognan Grand Cru Classé, France

One of Pessac-Léognan's most celebrated classified estates, with a history stretching back to the 12th century. The 2018 red is a blend of 65% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 5% Petit Verdot, aged 18 months in 40% new French oak. Dark cherry, cassis, leafy tobacco and spice, with silky tannins, great structure and a long finish.
