Château La Louvière 2015 - Pessac-Léognan, France

One of Pessac-Léognan's most emblematic estates, purchased by André Lurton in 1965, with a history of viticulture stretching back over 700 years. A blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot from two deep gravel ridges, aged 15 months in 50% new French oak. The 2015 is a solar, generous vintage: lively red and black currant fruit, anise, roasted oak and iron, with warm tannins and a long, elegant finish.
