Château La Tour Carnet 2016 - Haut-Médoc Grand Cru Classé, France

One of the oldest estates in the Médoc, with origins dating to the 12th century, owned today by Bernard Magrez with Michel Rolland as consultant. The 2016 is a blend of 60% Merlot, 37% Cabernet Sauvignon and 3% Cabernet Franc, aged 16 months in French oak. Warm plums, tobacco, blackberry and a touch of vanilla, with juicy tannins and a fresh, savoury finish.
