The second wine of Château Calon Ségur, a Third Growth Saint-Estèphe estate. The 2019 is a blend of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot, aged 17 months in 30% new French oak. Black cherry, cassis, blueberry and unsmoked cigars, with velvety tannins, lively acidity and a long, expressive finish.
