Jean-Etienne Chermette Morgon Les Micouds - Morgon, Beaujolais, France

A blend of Gamay from two exceptional granite terroirs in Fleurie, Poncié and Les Garants, with vines averaging 55 years old and trained en gobelet. Vinified in the traditional Beaujolais style with whole-bunch semi-carbonic maceration, then aged 6 to 8 months in large foudres. The result is a wine of real elegance and depth, with notes of plum, raspberry, rose petal and spice, velvety tannins and a long, mineral finish.
