Neta Bicuixe Mezcal, Mexico

From NETA, working with a cooperative of family producers in Miahuatlán, Oaxaca since 2012. Made from wild Bicuixe agave, pit-roasted with mesquite wood, fermented in wooden vats and distilled in clay pot stills. Earthy, smoky and intensely herbal, with mineral depth. Each batch is unique and bottled at still strength.
