Rhum J.M Terroir Volcanique Vieux Agricole, Martinique

From Distillerie J.M in Macouba, at the foot of Mount Pelée in Martinique, under the AOC Martinique designation. Distilled from fresh sugarcane juice grown on volcanic soils and aged 3 years in new American oak barrels subjected to two levels of charring, intense and extreme, a technique developed at the distillery's own cooperage. Golden in colour with notes of vanilla, honey, tropical fruits, and a touch of nutmeg, with a smoky finish.
