From 70-year-old vines on a clay-limestone parcel bordering Chassagne-Montrachet's Morgeot, this village-level Santenay from the ninth-generation Muzard brothers is vinified with 30% whole clusters and aged 12 months in Burgundian oak. The nose opens on ripe cherry and the darker side of raspberry, with a harmonious, juicy and racy palate and a fresh, elegant finish.
