Zaka French Caribbean Rum Gold, Martinique

From Habitation La Favorite in Martinique, one of the last independent family-owned distilleries on the island. Named after the Voodoo god of agriculture, this agricole rum is distilled from pure fresh sugarcane juice and aged 18 months in French and American oak barrels, developing notes of ripe cane, warm spices, caramel, and a hint of citrus.
